On 1 December, Nexum Insurance Technologies (IT) together with the Latvian Embassy in Norway and the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) organised a business seminar for insurance companies “Internet Distribution Channel for Insurance Companies: Innovation and Challenges”. The high-level business meeting was held at the Latvian Embassy in Norway.

Nexum IT jointly with the British company has launched an online platform which will be used across Europe. Currently, the common platform is implemented in the two Baltic countries – Lithuania and Latvia. In the nearest future Nexum IT plans to continue this work and implement the online platform in other European countries.

Latvian IT company Nexum Insurance Technologies has received “Microsoft Customer Excellence Award 2010” in the category “Successful Adoption in Foreign Markets”. This award recognizes the achievements of Nexum IT in the implementation of projects in Scandinavia and Azerbaijan.
