UAB „Nexum IT“ gavo Europos Sąjungos struktūrinių fondų paramą projekto „UAB „NEXUM IT“ eksporto plėtros į naujas rinkas skatinimas“ (projekto Nr.: VP2-1.3-ŪM-01-K-02-007) įgyvendinimui. Projektas pradėtas 2009 m. rugsėjo 01 d.,o baigtas įgyvendinti 2011 m. gruodžio 31 d. Projektas buvo įgyvendintas pagal Lietuvos 2007-2013 metų Europos Sąjungos struktūrinės paramos panaudojimo strategiją ir Ekonomikos augimo veiksmų programos priemonę “Naujos Galimybės”. Projekto tinkamų finansuoti išlaidų suma siekė iki 418289 Lt, iš kurių iki 292802 Lt buvo skirta iš Europos regioninės plėtros fondo, o apie 125000 Lt sudarė nuosavos įmonės lėšos.

Projekto metu buvo įmonė aktyviai dalyvavo tarptautinėse parodose, siekiant pagerinti įmonės žinomumą naujose rinkose. Projektas padėjo atrasti naujų eksporto galimybių bei prisidėjo prie įmonės eksporto plėtros. Tikimąsi, kad artimiausiu metu įmonė pradės daugiau eksportuoti už Europos Sąjungos ribų. Bendrovė tikisi, kad per keletą artimiausių metų pavyks išplėsti eksporto geografiją ir išlaikyti aukštą eksporto dalį bendroje įmonės apyvartoje – apie 80 procentų.

On 14 April, Nexum Insurance Technologies together with the Embassy of Latvia in Sweden, Latvian Investment and Development Agency and Blue Bridge Technologies organized a business meeting for insurance companies in Sweden: “How modern technology can help to improve the efficiency of insurance business? Opportunities and case studies”. The seminar was held at the Embassy of Latvia in Stockholm.

The business meeting addressed the main issues and challenges in managing the Internet distribution channel, product and risk management, claim processing to set up a successful model to profit maximization. The main focus of the meeting was on the modern Internet based technologies available to insurance companies in Sweden and the case studies of successful applications in other countries.

The company Edirect SAAS Ltd. uses the so-called “SaaS” (Software-as-a-Service) delivery model. For insurance companies this model allows to pay the rent for the platform without purchasing it.

“We are very happy that we were able to start such a project with Nexum IT. Although we have launched this project very recently, this platform is already being used in Lithuania and Latvia”, informs Kristaps Muzikants, the CEO of Edirect SAAS. Talking about the future plans, Mr. Muzikants continue to tell that Edirect SAAS and Nexum IT work together to implement this platform in Scandinavia. “We strongly believe that the Internet is a powerful tool for distributing products and services.
